The Global Stocktake is a facilitative process that involves all components of the Agreement\u2014mitigation, adaptation, loss and damage, and means of implementation\u2014 in light of equity and the best available scientific information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, the Paris Agreement establishes a set of key aspects regarding the collective assessment of adaptation progress in the Global Stocktake in Article 7.14. However, the first Global Stocktake (GST1) highlighted the persistent political and technical obstacles that marginalize adaptation in international climate governance. Specifically, the fundamental mandates of this Article faced significant implementation dilemmas, resulting in a limited depth of this collective assessment of adaptation. Sin embargo, esta conversaci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n ha sido impulsada por diversos sectores de la sociedad civil, pasando por pueblos originarios, centros de pensamiento, organizaciones sociales, organizaciones no gubernamentales, organizaciones sindicales, academia, organizaciones ambientalistas, del campesinado y otras, que hoy, avanzamos con esta propuesta de Hoja de Ruta que incluye una propuesta centrada en acciones concretas y posibles para alcanzar el 1,5\u00b0 del Acuerdo de Par\u00eds, pero tambi\u00e9n para avanzar hacia sociedades menos desiguales, m\u00e1s justas y m\u00e1s diversas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El documento recoge el resultado de un proceso liderado por organizaciones de la sociedad civil, redes regionales y personas expertas de Am\u00e9rica Latina y combina an\u00e1lisis t\u00e9cnico, insumos estructurados de forma discutida y colegiada, y espacios participativos orientados a identificar opciones pr\u00e1cticas, estrategias de secuenciaci\u00f3n, barreras y condiciones habilitantes para avanzar en la salida progresiva y ordenada de los combustibles f\u00f3siles en la regi\u00f3n. El Balance es un proceso facilitativo que involucra todos los componentes del Acuerdo -mitigaci\u00f3n, adaptaci\u00f3n, p\u00e9rdidas y da\u00f1os y medios de implementaci\u00f3n-, a la luz de la equidad y de la mejor informaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica disponible.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al mismo tiempo, el Acuerdo de Par\u00eds establece un conjunto de aspectos clave con respecto a la <strong>evaluaci\u00f3n colectiva del progreso en adaptaci\u00f3n en el Balance Mundial<\/strong> (GST, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) (art\u00edculo 7.14). Sin embargo, el primer Balance Mundial (GST1) puso de relieve los persistentes obst\u00e1culos pol\u00edticos y t\u00e9cnicos que marginan la adaptaci\u00f3n en la gobernanza clim\u00e1tica internacional. En concreto, los mandatos fundamentales del art\u00edculo 7.14 del Acuerdo de Par\u00eds enfrentaron importantes dilemas de implementaci\u00f3n, redundando en una limitada profundidad de esta evaluaci\u00f3n colectiva en adaptaci\u00f3n.
