This document seeks to provide a status of the negotiations related to the framework of the Global Goal on Adaptation (GGA) under the Glasgow-Sharmel-Sheikh work programme (GlaSS), including the progress made during the 58th session of the Subsidiary Bodies of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the 7th workshop of the GlaSS that took place in Buenos Aires, the identification of the positions by negotiating group and stakeholders, and strategic considerations for the last and incoming workshop of the GlaSS in Botswana.
