Argentina 1.5°

Who
we are

Argentina 1.5 is a think-and-action tank based in Latin America that grounds its work in the co-construction of ideas, solutions and dialogue to address the climate emergency, with a focus on just ecological transitions and prioritizing the most vulnerable sectors.

Our trajectory

Building bridges for climate action

Climate change cannot be addressed by a single sector. It requires scientific evidence, dialogue and cooperation among governments, organizations, academia and communities.

Argentina 1.5 was created to contribute to that coordination, generating knowledge and promoting agreements that strengthen climate policies in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Today we combine knowledge production, technical support for the development and implementation of public policies, climate diplomacy and strategic coordination, contributing to more ambitious, inclusive and coherent climate action at different levels of governance.

How do we contribute to the change we seek?

If we generate evidence, connect stakeholders, strengthen capacities and influence public policy, we contribute to building the conditions for a more just, resilient and evidence-based climate transition.
